Description
Soy isoflavones have weak estrogenic activity, which can compensate for the reduced estrogen levels in menopausal women due to menopause, thereby alleviating or avoiding the onset of menopausal syndrome. Additionally, soy isoflavones exhibit phytoestrogenic activity and can bind to estrogen receptors (ER) on osteoclasts, reducing their activity and thus limiting bone resorption. This makes them beneficial for the prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
